Fast and thorough service Almost 40 years experience
Over 2500 homes painted
Thorough training of each employee
Personal Experience:
Jim Grover started painting residential homes in the East Bay of
San Franscisco Bay Area, California in June of 1967. During the 80's he
started a
seamless aluminum gutter business, while maintaining the painting
business. He specialized in existing residential homes where he gained
invaluable experience painting all types of residential applications
for both interior and exterior. He has painted virtually every type of
house available: stained wood, painted siding, stucco, block, brick,
and shingles. His firm also installed gutters on over 2000 homes during
the 80's and he has painted over 2500 homes during his career. His
painting crews have logged over 200,000 man hours. In 1991 Jim moved
back to the Northwest (where he spent his teenage years) and soon after
reestablished his painting business.
Business Experience:
Jim's almost 40 years of experience as a house painting contractor
has given him a strong business background. Jim believes in good
customer service and actually shows up for estimates and jobs. This is
a real business like any other and must be conducted in a business like
manner. All estimates and contracts are done on the computer and
delivered by email, fax or sometimes snail mail. Mr. Painterman is a DBA of
Grover Enterprises Ltd, a privately held Washington corporation. Mr. Painterman is a national registered trademark and no other company may use our name. |
Jim has written a house painting guide used to train painting employees. He
also wrote a guide to help painting contractors get more business and
succeed in the painting business. He has also written books on Choosing
Exterior Color and Deck Finishing. These books (except Running a paint business) are available for Homeowners in their own version. They can be purchased in PDF format or hard copy. See www.painterguides.com.,
Employees Training:
All employees are thoroughly trained by the contractor, Jim Grover.
They are personally training on all the basics of painting. They are
required to study a 100 page professionally written guide (written by
Jim Grover) to reinforce their on the job training. Virtually all the
painting experience Jim has had is in repainting private existing
homes. Jim supervises all work to his exacting standards. The age of
employees is not nearly as important as the thorough training they
receive and their work ethic.
Office and Estimates:
We
encourage use of email (our email is on 24/7), voice ( fax is425.458.9611). Most
estimates are emailed in an attached Word or PDF file. This is usually
more convenient and faster (easier to read) than fax and snail US mail. This is an Information Only website. Mr. Painterman does not collect, retrieve,
store or otherwise maintain any personal data from visitors to this
site. We do not sell or give away our customers names, addresses or information under any circumstances.
